Blindspot Privacy Policy

Terms of Service

Last updated: April 13, 2026

These terms govern your use of Blindspot, operated by No Box Dev ("we", "us", "our"). By using Blindspot, you agree to these terms.

1. The Service

Blindspot is a bug reporting tool. It lets website visitors capture screenshots and submit bug reports, which are created as GitHub Issues in repositories you configure. We provide a JavaScript widget, an API, and a management dashboard.

2. Accounts

You sign in with your GitHub account. You are responsible for maintaining access to your GitHub account. You must not share your Blindspot API credentials or allow unauthorized access to your account.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use Blindspot to collect sensitive personal data (passwords, financial info, health data) without appropriate safeguards
  • Abuse rate limits or attempt to overload the service
  • Use the service for any unlawful purpose
  • Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code from the API
  • Embed the widget on sites you do not own or operate without authorization

4. Your Data

You retain ownership of all data you submit through Blindspot. We store and process your data solely to provide the service. See our Privacy Policy for details on data handling.

5. GitHub Integration

Blindspot creates GitHub Issues on your behalf using the access token you authorize. You are responsible for ensuring you have permission to create issues in the configured repositories. We store your GitHub access token encrypted at rest and use it only for issue creation and repository access.

6. Bug Reporters

End users who submit bug reports through the widget are not required to have accounts. By embedding the widget, you acknowledge that report data (screenshots, browser info, page URLs) will be transmitted through our service and posted to your GitHub repository.

7. Service Availability

We aim to keep Blindspot available, but we do not guarantee uptime. The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We may modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice.

8. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, No Box Dev is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Blindspot. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim (if any).

9. Account Termination

You can delete your account at any time from the dashboard. This permanently removes all your sites, reports, and data. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated via the dashboard or email.
